ABOUT
I’m Nina Desloge, founder of Pilates Works of Sarasota. I created this studio to help people feel more at home in their bodies and reconnect with the strength, awareness, and balance that mindful movement can cultivate. Over the past three decades, I have worked with clients while also observing the evolution of the wellness and movement industry.
Pilates Works is an intimate, light-filled studio offering private and semi-private instruction in a calm and focused environment. What began as classical and contemporary Pilates instruction has gradually evolved into a broader wellness approach—one that recognizes the connection between physical alignment, mental clarity, and sustainable lifestyle habits.
While many people initially seek Pilates to improve posture, strength, or flexibility, the benefits often extend much further. Through precise, guided movement, clients develop greater core stability, improved body awareness, and a stronger connection between breath and movement. These elements work together to support both physical resilience and nervous system balance.
My teaching emphasizes precision-based instruction designed to strengthen, lengthen, and restore the body in a thoughtful and sustainable way. Every session is highly individualized, combining careful attention to alignment with progressive challenge and focused awareness. Over time, this process helps clients not only improve how they move, but also develop greater confidence and trust in their bodies.
Clients often leave each session feeling stronger, more energized, and more grounded. The experience extends beyond exercise—it becomes an opportunity to reconnect with the body and cultivate lasting well-being.
At Pilates Works, each session is designed to provide attentive, personalized instruction in a peaceful setting that supports both physical and mental renewal. It is an environment where clients can experience firsthand why Pilates remains one of the most effective methods for building strength, restoring balance, and supporting long-term health.
